VATA Ayurvedic wisdom holds that each of us made of three doshas or body/mind type: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. While possessing qualities of all, each of us is predominately one. The goal of Ayurveda is to maintain balance among all three dosha types.
A person who is dominantly Vata is physically slender and small framed, frequently on-the go, has alot on his or her mind and is easily chilled. Vata represents the elements if air and ether because vata people are constantly active, both physically and mentally. In order to maintain balance, vata people require a sense of grounding or stability and warmth to maintain energy.
