Nature's Bounty chewable Vitamin C - 500 mg with Rose Hips

I am trying to adjust to this. I have always been used to taking plain chewable Vit C which is like candy and smooth to take. With Rose Hips it seem to irritate my throat after I chew and swallow. I have to down this with water to remove the residue stuck to my throat to reduce my coughing
