I was diagnosed as having Reflux. I had a burning pain in the pit of my chest, My doctor prescribed a pill for it. I had a lung transplant in 2004 and take a lot of medication. I believed if I could eliminate one of the pill and take something natural for the reflux, it will be better for me. Taking the soda has helped me,now the pain is going away.

i needed to measure this item at 6 oz portions and when it came to the second portion it was way below 6 oz. It actually was dissapointing because I ordered enough to accomodate my recipe and could not finish my batch.

Soda is suitable not only for baking. It's suitable for beauty and health as well. You can mix a spoon of soda with some water until you get a thick paste. Use it as a face scrub to remove blackheads and to avoid pimples once a week. Sensitive skin owners shouldn't try this method. You can use same paste on a toothbrush to brush and whiten your teeth as well. To maintain optimal alkaline level in organism use 1/2 teaspoon of soda dissolved in a glass of water everyday 1 hour after meal. 1 glass of soda dissolved in a bath can soothe sunburned skin. Use soda for your armpits instead of deodorant. Strew some soda inside your shoes and bad smell will disappear. Wash vegetables and fruits with soda/water mix and all nasties will be gone. I'm so glad I found healthy soda!

I believe, that worth to pay the extra for this baking Soda. I use it as anti-acid, and I use it for baking. s an anti-acid, you feel the difference in taste vs Arm and Hammer. Arm and hammer if you do not drink it up at once, it develops a funky flavor. Bobs Red Mill, tastes the same, even if you continue to drink 5 minutes later. So no chemical reaction develop while standing in water.

I was looking for aluminum-free sodium bicarbonate, since I use it for baking, brushing teeth and washing my hair, and so far this product has been a good choice, it's working well and it's safe.
