Bob's Red Mill Whole Grain Oat Flour is a great way to add whole grains to the base of your healthy diet. Not only are oats a good source of protein and dietary fiber, they also help reduce cholesterol levels in the body. Add some healthy and delicious Whole Grain Oat Flour to your baking recipe or as a thickener or breading.

Almond Cookies

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 6 Tbsp Maple Sugar or Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Almond Meal
  • 1 cup sifted Bob's Red Mill Oat Flour

Preheat oven at 300°F. Grease cookie sheet, set aside. With a hand mixer, blend the butter, sugar and vanilla extract until creamy. Add the almond meal and the Bob's Red Mill Oat Flour and mix until the dough sticks together.

Form the dough into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place them on the prepared cookie sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove the cookies from the oven and allow the cookies to cool completely before enjoying. Makes 2 dozen cookies.
